It’s definitely a team effort out there!

Meanwhile, I found myself stationed firmly behind the chain-link fence, camera in hand. Hard balls and I? Not exactly BFFs. I've got quite the collection of bruises to prove it, so staying safe while cheering has become second nature for me.

But hey, someone’s gotta document the action from the sidelines!

Still, there’s something magical happening beyond the field too. The team’s mascot—a fluffy, oversized plushie—was stealing every bit of attention from the actual players. Honestly, who can resist such cuteness?

And let’s not forget the snacks! Popcorn, cotton candy, and enough chips to feed an army. Plus, it’s always a good time catching up with friends who’ve gathered around.

In fact, I barely noticed how the game was going. Did we win? I think so. Or maybe we lost—it doesn’t really matter when everyone’s having this much fun. After all, isn’t that what sports are supposed to be about?

I use the term "we" pretty loosely here. I mean, I wasn’t even playing!

Anyway, as the night drew to a close, the scoreboard flashed the final score (or at least I assume it did), and the crowd dispersed into the twilight. A great time was had by all—or at least by those brave enough to step onto the field.
