These past few weeks have been a whirlwind of activity. We’ve been juggling Aliyah’s ballet recitals and end-of-year school events while keeping up with regular doctor visits—thankfully, everyone is finally starting to feel healthier! In the midst of all this chaos, we’re also getting ready for the arrival of our little one. It’s a mix of excitement and nerves as we try to stay organized and prepare for life after baby. Some days, I’m lucky if I manage to crawl into bed with my eyes still open, but hey, that counts as a win!

As I fold tiny onesies and organize the nursery, I find myself daydreaming about cozy evenings rocking our baby to sleep while singing soft lullabies. There’s a strange mix of emotions swirling around inside me—some days I feel overwhelmingly excited, others filled with a touch of anxiety. But overall? Happiness prevails. When moments of doubt creep in, I remind myself to pause and take a deep breath. Life moves fast, but I can choose to savor each moment instead of letting it pass me by in a blur.

Sometimes, though, parenting feels like a balancing act. You’re constantly adjusting to new schedules, finding your groove, and learning how to be everything your child needs all at once. It’s daunting but beautiful, like building something from scratch and watching it grow stronger every single day. I guess the key is to embrace the imperfections and trust yourself along the way.
