The Teacher Gift
It's been a whirlwind of a week, and I've decided to dedicate this entire week to talking about school since there's just so much to share. It feels like everything is coming together in exciting ways, and I'm excited to dive right in.
First off, Aliyah started kindergarten this week, and I couldn't be prouder. She's stepping into this new chapter with such confidence, and it's amazing to see her grow. When I picked her up today, her teacher greeted me with a huge smile and said, "Aliyah is absolutely fantastic!" Now, I know teachers tend to be encouraging like that, but I'm choosing to take it as a genuine compliment. My girl is incredible, and hearing that from someone who's already making such an impact in her life just made my heart swell.
Starting anything new brings its own set of emotions, but introducing a new person into your child's life—especially someone as influential as a teacher—is a big deal. That's why I thought it would be the perfect moment to put together a thoughtful little gift for her teacher.
As fate would have it, just last week, I stumbled upon some really cute gift ideas while preparing for the school year. I got caught up in the excitement and shared my thoughts with Chris, my partner.
Me: "We should definitely get a gift for Aliyah's teacher. I don't want her to be the only kindergartner without one."

There's something magical about homemade treats—they always seem to bring people together.
