Gently pour the disinfectant solution into the bag and observe the fish’s behavior. After the recommended disinfection time, carefully transfer the fish back into the pond.

- A mixture of 8 mg/L copper sulfate and 10 mg/L bleaching powder for 20 minutes helps prevent gill disease, red skin disease, and enteritis.
- A combination of 5 mg/L bleaching powder and 3 mg/L caustic soda for 20 minutes is useful against parasitic insects and ringworm.
- A 0.2 mg/L fish-worm spirit solution for 15–20 minutes can help prevent gill diseases, anchor worms, and other external parasites.

3. **Important Precautions**:
- Always dilute the disinfectants according to the manufacturer's instructions before adding them to the bag. Never pour concentrated solutions directly into the bag or use metal containers for mixing.
- The recommended soaking times are based on an average water temperature of around 20°C. Adjustments may be needed if the water is significantly warmer or cooler.
