Yuhuatai District of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, actively explored a new model of occupational health and safety supervision. The three-level network of health supervision and the three-level network of safety production supervision was integrated into the two networks. On the unified platform set up by the government, health supervision and safe production were changed in the past. The supervision of "respective singing" is a joint effort between the two to "sing a single act" to ensure occupational health and safety. Recently, Nanjing Municipal Health Bureau held a live meeting to promote this new practice.

According to Chen Xin, director of the Yuhuatai District Health Surveillance Office in Nanjing, there are 84 occupational hazards in Yuhuatai District, involving 4S shops, cement plants, and iron and steel metallurgy companies. The safety production supervision department and the health supervision department must conduct training and inspections on related companies. Both departments establish a three-level network composed of districts, streets, and communities. The safety supervision department has a safety officer at the grassroots level, and the health supervision department has an information officer. However, in the past, all were involved and each was not ventilated. The result was not only repeated training and repeated inspections, but also increased the burden on the company. The regulatory effect is also not ideal.

From the first half of this year, Yuhuatai District of Nanjing actively explored a new model of occupational health and safety supervision. It will integrate safety supervision and health supervision “two networks”, hold regular ventilation meetings, conduct joint training and inspections, share information, and fully rely on streets and communities. Resources, play a role in collaborative management of community security staff and information workers. The safety production supervision department of the district can also log in the occupational health supervision system of the health supervision department, learn related information such as the construction and monitoring of related enterprises, and reflect the service functions in the common supervision, and protect the occupational health and safety of the employees according to law. At present, occupational hazards units in the area have achieved “one family, one file” standardization, and the awareness rate of personnel training and occupational protection knowledge has reached 100%.
