Broilers with fat feed

<

The addition of oils and fats to broiler diets increased energy and protein utilization, and the growth rate of broilers was significantly faster.

Grease feeds include animal and vegetable oils. Animal oils such as lard, tallow, fish oil, etc., vegetable oils such as rapeseed oil, cottonseed oil, corn oil, and the like. In general, the optimum ratio of broiler diet oil is: 0.5% in the early stage and 5%-6% in the latter stage.

Due to the large viscosity of the oil, it must be heated and melted before it is added, then added from little to more, evenly mixed, gradually expand the dilution, and finally mix with the rest of the remaining diet, avoid mixing the grease directly with additives to prevent sticking into the ball Can not mix, sprayer can also be used to spray the grease evenly on the surface of the pellet feed. For conditional pellet feeds, 30% of the added fat can also be added to the pellet feed, and the other 70% can be sprayed on the surface of the pellet feed to increase palatability.

It should be noted that no deteriorating grease can be used. After the oil is added, due to the increase of the energy level in the diet, other nutrients in the feed must be adjusted accordingly, especially to keep the protein energy ratio unchanged. In addition, storage and storage time should not be too long. Storage is prolonged or stored under high temperature conditions prone to rancidity. In general, fat-containing feed should not be stored for more than 7 days in the summer and not exceed 21 days in the winter. And antioxidants should be added to feed to prevent rancidity.
