The inkjet printer ink is a consumable product that is often used. The inkjet printer ink needs to be tested for resistance to reducing agents, oxidizing agents, fluorine resistance, and preservative resistance. This is what we call compatibility testing.

Different inkjet printer consumable inks are mixed, and there is mutual solubility between the dye and the dye, between the various solvents, and between the dye and the solvent. Otherwise, chemical denaturation occurs, which may cause the dye/pigment in the ink to crystallize.

The same ink has different adhesion on different surface materials: This part of the printing characteristics is affected by three parts: the molecular structure of the inkjet pigment itself determines the dyeing fastness itself, that is, the dye/pigment itself. High fastness grade, excellent external performance; secondly, the influence of the characteristics of the printing medium itself, such as the performance of the dielectric coating, determines the printing quality of the ink; finally, the formulation of the ink, the ink solvent, the auxiliary The additive in the surface treatment of the ink also increases the durability of the printing effect.

1. The relationship between the printer ink and media:

Whether it is ordinary ink or anti-migration ink, the print medium has a profound effect on the dryness of the ink. Different types of media have a great influence on the durability of the ink. For plain paper and special paper, the light fastness may differ by more than 20 years.

2. The structural properties of the pigment itself:

Dyes and pigments differ greatly in the chemical stability of the chromogenic groups in the molecular structure, regardless of the photodecomposition of the molecular structure produced by the irradiation of the pigment by the indoor light and the oxidative decomposition of the ozone in the outdoor sunlight. The degree of denaturation is different, so the light fastness of the ink varies greatly. For pigments of the same nature, the chemical stability of the chromogenic groups varies depending on the molecular structure. When screening pigments, the fastness fastness grade should be considered. The higher the grade, the better the light fastness.

3. Additives such as solvents and additives added to the ink of the printer's consumables:

The ink is modified by an ultraviolet absorber, a photoinitiator, an aqueous resin or the like added by the ink to improve the light fastness of the ink.
