Which parts of the diesel engine and the butter "do not call"

<

The following components of the diesel engine are not suitable for buttering:

Cylinder head and cylinder head gasket

It is not advisable to apply butter to enhance the seal.

Analysis of the cause: After the cylinder head nut is tightened, a part of the butter will be squeezed out of the cylinder and was wasted, and a part of the butter will be squeezed into the cylinder. When the diesel engine is working, this part of the butter will be burned to charcoal at a high temperature and accumulated in the top of the cylinder piston. After the temperature of the diesel engine rises, a layer of oil film between the cylinder head and the cylinder head gasket, the cylinder head and the surface of the cylinder block will melt and disappear due to the temperature rise, so that the cylinder head nut will be loosened, resulting in air leakage and oil leakage. If the cylinder head gasket is damaged, the cylinder head and cylinder head gasket may not be easily disassembled due to high temperature and butter coke.

Diesel dry cylinder liner

Applying butter to this area can cause the diesel engine to overheat and affect normal operation.

Analysis of the cause: When the engine is warmed to normal temperature, the cylinder liner will be thermally expanded, and the cylinder block seat hole has less expansion due to the lower temperature of the cooling water. The outer surface of the dry cylinder liner abuts against the seat hole to conduct heat dissipation. Applying butter to the outer surface of the cylinder liner prevents good contact between the two surfaces, making it impossible to dissipate heat properly.

Through the above explanation, we know that butter is widely used on diesel engines to protect the body, but it can not be abused, otherwise it will cause adverse consequences and even counteract the damage of the body. (香巧)
