Diesel engine piston rod assembly assembly points

<

The piston rod set is the main structural assembly of the diesel engine. Pay attention to the following points when assembling it:

First, press-fit connecting rod copper sleeve. It is best to use a press when installing the copper sleeve of the connecting rod, or by means of a vise. Do not use a hammer to strike it; the oil hole or oil groove on the copper sleeve should be aligned with the oil hole on the connecting rod to ensure lubrication. After the copper sleeve is pressed in, the distance between the ends of the two protruding rods should be equal.

Second, cleverly installed piston pin. The piston pin and the pin hole are in an interference fit. When installing, the piston should be heated to 90 °C ~ 100 °C in water or oil. After the hammer is pulled out, place the rod at the proper position between the piston pin holes, and then apply the oil-coated piston pin according to the standard. Purpose To fit into the piston pin hole and the connecting rod bushing. At the same time, it is necessary to push the piston pin while hooking the connecting rod, and use the thumb or palm to shoot into the pin hole and the small copper sleeve of the connecting rod, and can move in it, then the sound name is suitable for the tightness. To make the piston pin end face equal to the distance between the two piston pin retaining rings, install the retaining ring.

Third, the assembly of pistons and connecting rods. When assembling pistons and connecting rods, attention should be paid to their relative position and target purpose. The connecting end of the connecting rod is flat and the vortex groove at the top of the piston should be on the same side as the pairing number of the connecting rod; the connecting end of the connecting rod is slanted, and the vortex groove at the top of the piston should be at the upper end of the slanting slang On the same side, the top of the piston has a pointed end that should be directed to the fuel injection pump.

4. Install the connecting rod set. When the connecting rod set is installed in the cylinder, when installing the connecting rod cover, pay attention to the matching mark of the connecting rod end, and at the same time, use the torque wrench to tighten the bolt 2 to 3 times according to the delineating torque. The moving crankshaft should have no stuck phenomenon, and finally install Tighten the wire or fuse.

Fifth, the installation of the piston ring. When installing the piston ring, pay attention to the position and number of each ring. The first gas ring on the piston is usually a chrome ring. The second and third rings are mostly twisted rings and also have tapered rings. In the case of a ring of inner slang, the slang should be facing downwards; in the case of a tapered ring, the side with the word "up" or the angle of the cone should face upwards. The piston ring must not be stuck in the groove; the opening of the first gas ring cannot be opposite to the pin hole of the piston and the vortex groove on the top of the piston; the opening position of the adjacent rings should be staggered by 90-120 degrees to prevent the cylinder. Gas leaks to facilitate sealing. After the piston ring is installed, the opening gap (end gap) and the side gap are checked. The gap between the teeth is easy to cause air leakage, and the gap is too small, and the phenomenon of sticking will occur; the side gap refers to the gap between the piston ring and the ring groove in height, which enables the ring to freely move in the ring groove, so as not to be stuck. This gap should not be oversized. Otherwise, when the piston moves up and down in the cylinder, the gas ring will be flooded with the pump oil, and the lubricating oil will enter the combustion chamber, accelerating the wear of the lubricating oil and causing serious carbon deposition.
