The transportation of broccoli also requires a refrigerated truck, and the temperature should not be higher than 15 °C, otherwise the small flower buds will quickly yellow. For the storage and transportation without refrigeration equipment, ice cubes can be cooled in the package in time after harvesting. The amount of ice added accounts for 1/3 to 2/5 of the total volume of the tank and is delivered to the destination as soon as possible.

During the storage period, broccoli has a certain release of ethylene. This gas accumulates in the storage environment, which will accelerate the aging of flower buds. Attention should be paid to proper ventilation during storage management.
