Indonesia's non-food product labeling regulations implemented ahead of schedule
According to the website of the Ministry of Commerce, the Indonesian Ministry of Trade prepared to include non-food products listed in the 62th Minister of Trade Regulations of 2009. Both imported products and local products must be implemented in advance in accordance with the rules set out in the Indonesian language. Regarding commodities that have not yet flowed in the market, the regulations originally came into effect on December 21, 2010 and are now effective as of July 1 this year. For products that have already flowed in the market, the regulations were enacted on December 31, 2011.
