Plasma seed treatment technology comparison test initial results

On July 22, technicians from Shandong Agricultural Machinery Technology Extension Station went to Sijie Village, Xiaoli Town, Changqing District to view the comparative test of plasma seed treatment technology, related to the plasma treated corn, soybean and peanut. Growth was measured, data were collected and compared to untreated crops.

Plasma seed treatment technology is an agricultural physics technology. It treats seeds with a plasma seed processor 5 to 12 days before sowing, enhances seed activity, improves seed emergence rate and drought resistance, and promotes crop growth. Improving the quality of crop products is a high-tech for increasing crop yields. With the continuous development of physical agriculture technology, plasma seed treatment technology has matured and become an important way to increase food production.

In the corn comparison test demonstration field, the technicians talked with the farmers. According to reports, the same varieties, the same soil conditions and management conditions, the treated seeds have obvious advantages in crop growth after sowing. From the current growth, the treated crops are longer and thicker than the untreated roots, and the roots are clearly developed. In addition, the treated corn is basically free of pests, and the ability to resist pests and diseases is significantly better than conventional seeds.

In the soybean comparison test field, the growth contrast is very obvious. The soybeans treated by the plasma seed treatment technology grew vigorously, and the foliar hypertrophy was significantly higher than that of the untreated ones. From the traces of the leaf surface being bitten by the insects, the treated damage is smaller. The technicians measured the plant height of the soybeans. The three sets of data were sufficient to illustrate the problem: the treated plant heights were 64 cm, 67 cm, and 71 cm, respectively, and the untreated soybean plant heights were 52 cm, 54.5 cm, and 57 cm, respectively. .

In the peanut comparison test field, the difference in seedling growth is not very obvious, but after the peanut is pulled out, the advantage of plasma treatment is clear at a glance, and it can be clearly seen that the peanut roots treated by the plasma seed treatment technology are thick and fruitful. More needles, more fruits, the effect is very obvious.
