Main factors affecting the performance of box dryers

<

Advantages of the box dryer: The flow rate of the hot air in the dryer can be changed according to the characteristics of the material and the drying demand, and then the best drying effect can be achieved; the hot air can be recycled, the cabinet is insulated, energy saving and production are reduced. It is suitable for the drying treatment of aquatic materials and expanded materials.

(1) Hot air rate: In order to improve the drying rate, a large heat transfer coefficient is required, and the circulation rate of the hot air should be increased. The wind speed should be less than the critical wind speed of the material to avoid the material being carried out.

(2) Spacing of material layers: In the dryer, air-moving passages are formed between the multi-layer structure upper trays. The size of the air passage is related to the number of structural layers, and its flow rate, direction of motion, and dispersion of the drying medium are related to the flow rate.

(3) Thickness of material layer: In order to ensure the quality of the dry material, in addition to reducing the circulating hot air temperature in the cabin, it is also a method to reduce the thickness of the material layer. The thickness of the material layer is determined by the test and is generally 10-100 mm.

(4) Air volume of the fan: The air volume of the fan is determined based on the theoretical value (air volume) obtained from the calculation and the amount of leakage in the dryer. In order for the airflow to not show a dead angle, the fan should be installed in a suitable orientation. Install the rectifying plate together to control the wind direction so that the hot air is evenly distributed.
