Boar breeding technology

<

In recent years, the boars raised by our individual pig farmers have often experienced problems: some have been eliminated in less than two years; some boars are physically strong but have low libido and are eventually eliminated. This is mainly caused by unreasonable feeding and management and improper use. The author summarizes the practical experience to remind everyone that in order to properly use and raise the boar, the following 5 points should be noted.

First, strictly select

When choosing boars, first look at the local pigs for improvement. If the local is a long-term breed of Landrace, select some grams of boars; if it is to promote Changbai and Yorkshire, you should introduce Duroc breeders in time. In order to use hybrid superiority to improve pig quality. The boar's weight should generally be more than 75 kg, and have the typical appearance of this species, large testicles, symmetrical on both sides, the body is robust and flexible, medium sensation, straight line is not sagging, sexual desire is strong, semen quality and other conditions.

Second, scientific feeding

The basic requirements for breeding boars are: to ensure that the boar has a healthy body, strong sexual desire and good ability to breed, and excellent semen quality. To achieve this, scientific feeding must be carried out to maintain the good constitution and quality of breeding boars. Generally, boars with a body weight of 110 kg and a sexual maturity of more than 10 months should be fed in limited quantities, such as feeding. Too much, the boar gain too much weight, libido will decline; If you use self-made feed, the following formula is recommended: corn 50%, bean cake 5%, ç³  7.7%, bran 19%, fish meal 5%, grass powder 10 %, calcium carbonate 1%, salt 0.5%, calcium dihydrogen phosphate 0.7%, pig additive 1%; can also be used to feed boars pregnant sow, master 2.2 - 3 kg per day, but should be based on full price feed . In order to increase the libido, ejaculation and sperm motility of boars, appropriate amount of green feed should be fed. The general amount of feed should be controlled at about 10% of the diet (converted by dry matter) to prevent the formation of grassy abdomen. For seasonal breeding, feed should be added one month before breeding; when perennial breeding or using high intensity, the content of vitamin E per kilogram in the diet should be not less than 24 milligrams and selenium should not be lower than 0.1 milligram. If you do not add enough of the vitamin E, you should also feed 2 eggs a day.

Third, careful management

Adult boars should be bred in a single circle. Feeding should be regular and quantitative, and should not be over-fed each time and ensure adequate clean drinking water. Should also seize the opportunity to feed, caresses, close to the kind of boar, establish feelings, not to intimidate and intimidate, so as not to cause boar bite and other counter-resistance.

In order to enhance physical fitness, promote metabolism and sexual activity, male boars should be scheduled to drive for 1-2 hours each day. At the same time, brush the body surface once a day to promote blood circulation, reduce skin diseases, and maintain a good posture. In addition, the pig house should be kept clean, dry, light-transmitting, cool in summer and warm in winter.

Fourth, the rational use

The age of boars is generally more than 10 months and the body weight is 90-120 kg. It can be used after reaching sexual maturity. Beginning 2-3 times per week within the first month, 25 to 30 heads per head of adult boars are appropriate. General adult boars can be planted once a day, rest 5-7 days a day, the mating time should be carried out in the morning and evening in the summer, and should not be fed within one hour before and after mating, and it is forbidden to rinse with cold water after mating.

V. Immunization

Swine fever: use the first half of the month to prevent, 4 heads/head, and 1 half year immunization.

Foot-and-Mouth Disease: Prevention 4 weeks before use, 2 heads/head, 1 prevention every October.

Swine erysipelas and pneumonia: once in half a year, 2 heads/head.

Parvovirus: Prevention 2 weeks before use, 1 head/head, 1 time per year.

Pseudorabies: Once a year, use as directed.

Amino Acids are biologically important organic compounds composed of amine and carboxylic acid functional groups, along with a side-chain specific to each amino acid. With biological significance, amino acids are important in nutrition and are commonly used in Nutritional Supplements, fertilizers, and food technology. Industrial uses include the production of drugs, biodegradable plastics, and chiral catalysts.
