  Insufficient compressor oil and insufficient compressor lubrication

When the compressor is in operation, a large amount of refrigerant gas is also taken away while entraining a small portion of the lubricating oil. Short-term shortage of oil in the compressor will cause abnormal wear of the relevant components inside the compressor, resulting in high vibration and noise. Long-term lack of oil will cause the internal components to overheat, resulting in bearing sintering, holding the shaft, compressor built-in protection, exhaust or Top temperature protection, overcurrent protection, power supply trip, abnormal compressor operation, high compressor cavity temperature, etc.

1. The compressor starts and stops frequently for a long time.

2. The system contains air or moisture.

3. The system returns to the liquid or the refrigerant migrates to dilute the lubricating oil.

4. Compressor reversal (such as phase sequence error).

6. There are other chemical substances in the system, which cause the lubricating oil to deteriorate after chemical reaction with the lubricating oil.

Compressor blow

Excessive addition of refrigerant causes a large amount of liquid return to the system.

The internal fan does not rotate, the air volume is small, etc., resulting in incomplete evaporation of the refrigerant.

The EXV valve still maintains a certain degree of opening during power failure, resulting in a large amount of liquid return to the system.

Excessive oil quantity causes system oil attack (low pressure chamber compressor).

Compressor burned at high temperature

The high temperature overheating of the compressor is characterized by exhaust or top temperature protection, high temperature of the press chamber, and high pressure protection. Long-term high temperature overheating will not only reduce the insulation performance and reliability of the motor, but also shorten the life of the motor; it will also reduce the lubricating ability of the lubricating oil and even cause carbonization and acid hydrolysis of the lubricating oil.

The oil after acid hydrolysis causes copper plating. The fine metal scraps generated by the wear after copper plating are mixed in the lubricating oil, which on the one hand weakens the lubricating effect of the lubricating oil; on the other hand, the fine metal scraps are concentrated due to the magnetic properties. In the motor winding, a conductive loop is formed, causing partial discharge or short circuit of the coil.

The system vacuum is not enough.

The refrigerant is added too little or the refrigerant leaks.

The system return pipe ice block causes the exhaust or the top temperature to be too high.

The connecting pipe is too long or the pipe diameter is small, and the system resistance is increased, resulting in an increase in exhaust gas temperature and pressure.

Compressor motor damage

The damage of the motor is mainly caused by the insulation (short circuit) and open circuit of the stator winding insulation. After the winding is burned, some phenomena or direct causes of burning are covered, which makes the post-mortem analysis and cause investigation difficult. The faults are as follows: the contactor frequently picks up or burns, the overcurrent protection or the built-in protection of the compressor, the trip of the power switch, and the temperature of the compressor cavity are too high.

Burning or abnormality of contactor contacts, such as phase loss and phase deviation.

The rated voltage of the power supply cannot exceed ±10%.

The three-phase voltage imbalance rate cannot exceed 3%.

When the voltage is unbalanced, the load current is 4-10 times that of normal operation.

Insufficient cooling of the motor, large leakage of refrigerant or low evaporation pressure will cause the system mass flow to decrease, making the motor unable to get good cooling.
